Renewable Energy, The Future
Climate change is affecting our present. Our response will define our future.
In the Paris Agreement under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change 2015, countries worldwide agreed to hold the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, and to pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.
The call for a 100% renewable energy future is gaining widespread support. It is a clear and simple concept, which expresses perfectly the ambition signaled by countries in the signing of this 2015 landmark Paris Agreement.
